Warner Bros. Discovery has filed a lawsuit against Dish Network, alleging that its Sling TV short-term passes violate distribution agreements. The entertainment giant claims the passes undermine its subscription-based business model. Disney and ESPN joined the suit, echoing similar concerns.

Investors responded positively to Warner's legal stance, driving a modest uptick in WBD shares during Wednesday's closing trades. Dish Network parent Echostar declined substantive comment, though it hinted at Sling TV's disruptive approach to traditional bundling.
